Paper Airplane Aerodynamics

 

DESCRIPTION:

Explore aerodynamics with paper airplanes. Cadets will construct paper airplanes using templates/instructions as well as student-created designs. Then we will experiment with ways to increase stability, speed, range, etc, in their designs using weight, control surfaces, and other design tweaks. Class will finish with a competition for the design that produces the longest, fastest, highest flight, the best tricks, etc.
