DESCRIPTION:

Cadets will learn the impact on audiences of choosing words carefully in oral and written communication through a series of historical and current scenarios, showing how words set the tone, establish credibility, communicate message, and motivate audience response. Cadets will receive simple tips for choosing words to fit the occasion and will demonstrate the effects of good and bad word choices in common CAP cadet contexts, consistent with CAP core values.
